WELCOME TO RAINFOREST AND REEF

We strongly believe in environmental protection; but we also consider that any conservationist effort should also consider the social and economic well-being of those individuals who are, in one way or another, related to such effort. Bearing that goal in mind, we try to ensure that all our projects and activities contribute in some way to the well-being of the environment and of the communities involved. With this purpose, we have designed our itineraries, so you can be part of this effort and enjoy it, all at the same time. Therefore, each one of our trips, either academic, adventure or family trips, are aimed at promoting and collaborating with sustainable development, which we achieve by three different means:

All our clients experience direct contact with nature; they learn to value its wealth and the importance of protecting it. In this way, we spread the conservationist message to developed countries.

Each visitor traveling with Rainforest and Reef Costa Rica sends a powerful message to all Costa Ricans: their forests and oceans shelter such beauty and biodiversity that thousands of people come to enjoy and help preserve them. For this reason, the people of this country should be the most interested in protecting these natural resources.

Finally, each person traveling with Rainforest and Reef Costa Rica is directly supporting one or several of the conservationist projects led by nationally or interSnationally renowned organizations, since a portion of the price they pay while staying in Costa Rica is directly used to cooperate with conservationist organizations, who work permanently on environmental protection.
