DAY 1 ARRIVAL SAN JOSE.
Following your arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport, outside of San José, you will be meeting by our staff and transferred to the city for welcome dinner. Following, there will be a general orientation session to our Costa Rica Spanish Immersion. Then you will meet you host family who will transfer you to your new temporally home in our country. D

DAY 2 SPANISH LESSONS BEGINS - NATIONAL MUSEUM.
After breakfast with your host family you will start your Spanish lessons for 4 hours, after lunch our guide will meet you to visit The National Museum, this museum has amazing rooms like Pre-Columbian Room, you will discover the lifestyle of ancient cultures starting 12,000 years B.C. up to the arrival of the Spaniards. Pre-Columbian room this exhibition enhances our indigenous people’s view on gold. Butterfly garden with 20 different species and. Motherland, this room features a synthesis of the development Costa Rica has undergone throughout history since the arrival of the Spaniards until today dinner and over night with your host family. DAY 3 SPANISH LESSONS - HOMESTAY.
After breakfast you will start your Spanish lessons from 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. After you lessons you will return to new home with your “tico” family. Free night B D

DAY 4 SPANISH LESSONS.
Following breakfast you will start your lesson from 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to go with our guide, to do some shopping visiting a local Mall, where you would have the opportunity to practice and learn Spanish while you are having fun. B D

DAY 5 SPANISH LESSONS – PUEBLO ANTIGUO - HOMESTAY.
After a family breakfast you will start your Spanish lessons from 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. Later this afternoon you will visit and enjoy Pueblo Antiguo, a theme park located inside the amusement park where you can find the beauties of the Costa Rica of yesteryear. You can find many attractions such as flyers, ox carts, horses, cows, masquerades, clowns, street parades and dances. Pueblo Antiguo is an excellent choice to remember old times, a hot aguadulce, a corn muffin and a coconut caramel sauce, are complemented by a good day of fun, while reliving those things that were experienced in Costa Rica early century. DAY 6 SPANISH LESSONS- MONTEVERDE - BUTTERFLY FARM.
Following breakfast you will start your lesson from 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. In the afternoon you will transferred to Monteverde which is 4 hours away from San Jose. This is a peaceful community, considered an example of conservation; around this little village we can find several reserves (the Children´s Eternal Rain Forest and the Santa Elena Reserve among others). Once we are finally after our night hike, we will have dinner and overnight at Monteverde. B L D

DAY 7 MONTEVERDE CLOUDFOREST RESERVE.
After breakfast this morning, we will have a chance to hike in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. At present, Monteverde is comprised of 27,000 acres and run by the Monteverde Conservation League. The Reserve is cool, due to its’ elevation and lush vegetation. Incredible biodiversity here includes 400 species of birds, 100 species of mammals, 500 butterfly species and 2500 different types of plants. Three species of monkeys, tree sloths, coatimundis, kinkajous, the spectacular resplendent quetzal, three-wattle bell birds, red-eyed tree frogs and blue morph butterflies are just a few of the animal highlights. At the end of our journey in the reserve our group will visit the Hummingbird Gallery, where feeders are set up to attract some of the many species of hummingbirds found here. Fifty species have been recorded in Costa Rica. Following lunch, our group will take a Canopy tour. In a tropical forest the most of the activity occurs near to the top, so that’s exactly where we are going to be during this tour. Be prepared for an exciting ride on the highest portion of the Monteverde cloud forest, the canopy. Overnight at Monteverde. B L D

DAY 8 MONTEVERDE- TRANSFERT TO SAN JOSE.
After breakfast this morning, our group will travel a short distance to a local butterfly farm. Here, we will have a guided tour through and we will have the chance to see hundreds of spectacular butterflies found in Costa Rica, learn about their complex life cycle and the importance of butterflies in the wild. After lunch we will leave Monteverde and return to San José, Free night. B L D

DAY 10 SPANISH CLASSES- COFFE TOUR.
After breakfast you will start your Spanish lessons from 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. After you lessons our guide will take you to The verdant highlands of Costa Rica's fertile Central Valley seem to jostle for attention as our experts lead the way with unmatched knowledge, plenty of good humor and more than a few surprises!. DAY 12 -SPANISH LESSONS- INBIOPARQUE
After breakfast the group will visit the INBIO parque which is an amazing theme park that offers an interactive experience with Nature. Here you will see groupings of plants and trees from the tropical rainforest, Central Valley forest and species from the dry tropical forest and wetlands. On our campus, which covers and area of more than 5 hectares, visitors can observe many bird species and marvel at the colors of the orchids, heliconias and bromeliads. Around the lagoon you can enjoy the butterfly garden and the aquarium and learn about the Farm and its crops. As you hike along our trails you will get a close look at poisonous frogs, bullet ants, boas, caimans, turtles, iguanas and tarantulas, as well as sloth’s and other native species. DAY 13 SPANISH LESSONS – ARENAL HOT SPRINGS.
After a breakfast with your host family you will start your Spanish lesson from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. After lunch you will transferred to Arenal area where your visit Baldi Hot Springs, located at the base of Arenal, which is around 3 hour away from San Jose, Steaming waters form waterfalls and natural therapeutic pools that we can soak and relax in. The hot springs found here are surrounded by brilliant vegetation, while Arenal serves as a stunning backdrop. After the sun sets, we will with some luck, observe the activity of Arenal. On a clear night, one can see bursts of fire and red-hot molten lava shooting hundreds of feet into the sky, whereas during the day only smoke and the volcano's roar are apparent. Explosions typically can be seen from the hot spring. Overnight Lake Arenal. B D

DAY 14 ARENAL HANGING BRIDGES.
Following breakfast you will observe lava flows that make up Arenal’s lower slopes. We will take a look the remains of the volcano’s more active past. And we will have the chance to learn about the nature that surrounds then we will take a brief look at Lake Arenal, while we enroute to the Arenal Hanging Bridges, where the trails and bridges of this project will bring you as close as you could ever hope to get to the birds, the flowers and the lush vegetation of the primary rain forest. There you will be able to walk right into the forest, on hanging bridges and trails that are safe and easy to walk on. We will be transferred to San Jose for farewell dinner. B L D.

DAY 15 SAN JOSE – DEPARTURE
After an early breakfast and farewells to our families you will be transferred to Juan Santamaría International Airport, outside San José for your return flight home. B
